Tobias N. Schulz is a German contemporary artist, graduate filmmaker and entrepreneur. Over the past three decades he has lived and worked in various international locations such as Washingå, DC, New York City, Cologne, Germany, Los Angeles, CA, Paris, France and Berlin, Germany. Currently he lives and works in Germany.

 

Tobias N. Schulz works reflect the different stages of his life, mainly in the form of oil paintings and video art. His academic educational path led to the technical college for design with a one-year internship at an art gallery. He started working in the New York music industry and founded a production company and concert agency in Cologne, Germany mainly focusing on international black music acts. Later he went on to work in the film industry in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Paris, France in 2007 to pursue fashion, art and booking electronic dance music. In 2009 he went to Berlin, Germany and organized events around the Paris and Berlin fashion and art fairs, using his paintings and video art to promote the events. At that time he also started curating and participating at first exhibitions.
